Correctional Facility Support

About this project

On December 26, 2024, the IVL Foundation donated medical equipment to the Central Women’s Correctional Institution in Bangkok to improve the healthcare and living conditions of female inmates. Recognizing a critical shortage of essential medical supplies, including mobility aids and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), IVLF provided the necessary equipment to address these urgent needs.

This initiative aligns with IVL Foundation’s mission to support marginalized communities and ensure that all individuals receive the care and respect they deserve. By donating these essential supplies, IVLF aims to enhance the health, dignity, and overall well-being of female inmates.

Following this initiative, on January 22, 2025, the IVL Foundation, in collaboration with Thai Secom Security Company Ltd., organized Basic Life Support and AED training sessions for correctional officers and female inmates. This training equipped participants with essential skills to respond effectively in emergency situations, further enhancing the institution’s healthcare capacity.
