An explosion that ripped through Beirut Port in Lebanon and its surrounding area on August 4 created a shock wave that severely damaged roads and buildings for miles. Many families were immediately displaced and forced to seek temporary shelter.
In time of need, the Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. has approached the IVL Foundation for sponsorship towards their disaster relief project to restore two modest buildings severely affected by the explosion. The two buildings will allow more than 20 low-income families to come back to where they once resided in and start their new life.
