Dhammajarinee Witthaya School, an exclusive free boarding school for girls in Ratchaburi, faces significant challenges due to recurrent water shortages, which inevitably impact the students’ education. The school struggles with unreliable government water supply, resulting in disruptions beyond its control. Prolonged instances of water shortages have posed difficulties for the students, affecting their hygiene practices and daily routines.
Recognizing the critical importance of access to clean water for the students and school personnel, the IVL Foundation has initiated support for the construction and installation of backup concrete water tanks and water pump systems. This endeavor aims to ensure a consistent and reliable water source for the entire school, thereby safeguarding the students’ educational pursuits from unnecessary interruptions.
