IVL Innovation and STEM Clubs 2025

About this project

Building on the success of the past four years of collaboration with Dext Technology Limited, the IVL Foundation has transformed STEM education in 15 under-resourced schools in Ghana, benefiting over 2,400 students. Through the innovative Dext Science Set, students have gained hands-on experience in core scientific principles, making science not only accessible but exciting. Remarkably, 85% of students in participating schools now cite science as their favorite subject. Teachers have also reported a shift in their approach—moving from traditional instruction to more interactive, student-centered teaching methods.

In 2025, the IVL Foundation and Dext will expand the IVL Innovation and STEM Clubs program to five additional schools, bringing the opportunity to even more students who might otherwise lack access to quality STEM education. At the same time, the Foundation will continue supporting at least 10 existing partner schools to ensure continuity and deeper impact. Beyond student engagement, the program includes comprehensive teacher training on how to effectively integrate the Dext Science Set into their curriculum. This dual approach of empowering both students and educators ensures a sustainable, long-term improvement in STEM education and helps nurture the next generation of innovators.
