For the third consecutive year, the IVL Foundation remains committed to supporting Bannurnpayom School, its sub-branch in Bueng Nakhon, and Ban Ta Mai Lai Children Development Center in Bueng Nakhon sub-district, Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province as part of our long-term development plan. This year, our focus is on empowering students by providing transformative training and workshops that foster academic growth, emotional resilience, and hands-on learning experiences beyond the classroom. In addition, we continue to address critical infrastructure gaps, ensuring that students have access to essential facilities that promote hygiene, well-being, and a better learning environment.
Since the start of the year, IVLF has conducted several activities, including:
Infrastructure Improvements
- Installation of a water filtration system and renovation of its roofing at Ban Ta Mai Lai Children Development Center
- Renovation of an unusable toilet at Ban Ta Mai Lai Children Development Center
- Enhancement of a concrete walkway at Bannurnpayom School’s Bueng Nakhon Branch.
Hands-on Learning: Sustainable Farming & Hydroponics Workshop
In March, the IVL Foundation recently organized a two-day workshop on “Sustainable Farming and Hydroponic Vegetable Cultivation” for eight students and two science teachers from Bannurnpayom School. As part of the program, participants visited two Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) schools—Kaenthong Uppatham School and Suwitserianusorn School—where the IVL Foundation has been running agricultural-focused projects.
In a unique peer-to-peer learning experience, students from the BMA schools led sessions, sharing their firsthand knowledge and expertise in sustainable farming and hydroponics. This interactive exchange not only deepened the understanding of sustainable agricultural practices but also encouraged collaboration between students from different regions.
