The IVL Foundation has supported World Vision Foundation of Thailand (WVFT) to provide clean water filtration systems to underprivileged areas affected by drought and water contamination with the focus on the North, Northeast and Central Thailand since 2020.
For 2021, the IVL Foundation sponsored WVFT to conduct WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Project to address the shortage of clean drinking water in six schools by providing and improving the water filtration systems in three regions of Thailand; i.e., Northern (Ban Huai Chang Taeng School in Phitsanulok and Hill Tribe Community Learning Center Mae Fah Luang Ban Huai Phlu in Tak), Northeastern (Ban Huai Fai School in Loei and Nongbonthanchoapa School in Buriram) and Central (Ban Dan Ratsadonbumrung School and Bee Grimm School in Sa Kaeo).
The new water filtration system at each school can provide at least 2,000 liter of clean drinking water per day which is sufficient to meet the needs of 1,110 students and 85 school personnel, as well as, 5,340 people in the communities around the schools.

On November 17, 2021, the IVL Foundation handed over the water filtration systems to the Ban Dan Ratsadon Bumrung in Sa Kaeo province. The IVL Foundation also donated two cages for the proper collection of post-consumed PET plastic bottles to the school.
IVLF has set up eight water filtration systems in schools/communities across provinces where the quality of water is poor since 2020. For more information on our project in 2020, please click here.
