Since 2020, the IVL Foundation has been supporting children in Kumasi, Ghana with STEM education, in cooperation with Dext Technology Limited. The project has offered hands-on science activities aimed at enriching students’ knowledge. The goal of this initiative is to enhance their creative capacity, cultivate an interest in science, and equip them with essential 21st-century skills.
From 2020 to 2023, the IVL Foundation has continuously supported 10 underfunded schools in the Tema Metropolitan area and the Tema West district in Ghana to establish and sustain the IVL Innovation and STEM Clubs.
In 2024, the IVL Foundation in cooperation with Dext Technology Limited have expanded this program’s reach to further benefit more students in five additional schools in Spintex, Ghana, while continuing to support the previous 10 schools. Under this program, all schools will receive the Dext Science Sets and other materials to conduct club activities. This year’s activities will cover topics such as electricity, energy, physics, the digestive system, the respiratory system, etc.
